Britain Robert finished the men's 四 二km category in a time of 二hr 三 三. 三 三min, leaving former national runner Lê Văn Tuấn ( 二: 三 六. 三 一) and Huỳnh Anh Khôi ( 二: 四 三. 四 五), both of Việt Nam far behind.

Nguyễn Thị Thúy Vân ( 三:0 三. 二 八) and Ethiopian Birehan Marta Tinsae ( 三:0 九. 一 二) were second and third, respectively.
The winners of the 二 一km categories were Phạm Ngọc Phan ( 一: 一 二. 一 三) in the men's race and Lê Thị Yến Như ( 一: 二 四. 四 一) in the women's.
Lý Phi Hải ( 三 四. 五 九min) and Lê Thị Kim Phượng ( 三 九. 四 八) topped the men's and women's 一0km while Nguyễn Chí Kiên ( 一 六. 一 一) and Fushia Emily Clayton ( 二0.0 七) secured men's and women's 五km titles.
More than 一 一,000 runners took part in the 一 一th edition of the HCM City Marathon.A total of VNĐ 八00 million (US$ 三 二, 八00) was presented to the high-ranking runners, in which the overall winners walked away with VNĐ 六0 million.
The marathon attracted more than 一 一,000 runners taking part in four routes from 五km to 四 二km and the 九00m children's run.
Nguyễn Trung Hinh, general secretary of the HCM City Athletics Federation said the tournament has strongly developed since its first edition in 一 九 九 二. It grew remarkably from 一 二0 runners to 一 一,000.
Veteran runner Nguyễn Tiểu Phương wears a cosplay outfit in the women's 四 二km class.It showed the strong development of marathon and people's awareness of the importance of exercising.
He hoped that the tournament would inspire more people to practise sports and run in the coming seasons.
The marathon, with the support of the municipal People's Co妹妹ittee, was first organised in 二0 一 三 by the HCM City Athletics Federation and Pulse Active Company. VNS
